Our Backpacker Insurance policy covers long stay trips of 31 days to 18 months abroad. You can be destination specific and just pay for where you are travelling to. We divide the globe into 4 zones, Europe, Australia and New Zealand, Worldwide excluding USA, Canada and the Caribbean islands or Worldwide cover.
Our Backpackers policy is designed for travellers aged 18—39 and is ideal for gap year travellers, backpackers and anyone taking an extended holiday abroad.

We include over 60 sports and hazardous activities as standard at no extra premium on our Long Stay policies, making it a popular choice for anyone travelling abroad and taking part in sporting activities. We include amongst others water skiing, white water rafting, scuba diving, trekking, (with no altitude limits), and even quad biking and zorbing!
We also provide optional cover for winter sports activities. Cover includes both on and off-piste* skiing and snowboarding, you can even upgrade to include bobsleighing and heli skiing.
