Winter Sports Travel Insurance - Ski and Snowboard Cover
Just because you are backpacking or taking a gap year does not mean that you will only be visiting hot countries. Many of our customers like to include travelling to other countries and regions to enjoy the snow and take part in some winter sports activities.
You can include up to 6 months winter sports cover with our long stay backpacker travel insurance. The activities included are for skiing, snowboarding, tobogganing, glacier skiing, big foot skiing, monoskiing, cross country skiing, sledging, snow blading and snow tubing. You can also go off-piste as long as you are skiing within the ski area boundaries of a recognised ski resort and following ski patrol guidelines.
Not only will you be covered in the event of a misshap on the slopes which includes £30,000 cover for search and rescue but you will also have cover in place for your hired or owned ski or snowboard equipment. There are other extras included such as ski pass cover, avalanche closure and piste closure.
